Agreement Between Hosting Parish & Missionaries of the New Evangelization
The weekend of the Mission, Fr. Bramlage will preach all English Masses.
At each of these Masses, Angie Myers (MNE musician) will play a post Communion Song and sing. Please notify your music ministry.
The hosting parish will need to clear their parish calendar of all events during the three nights of the Mission so that all parishioners are able to participate.
The Mission will consist of three nights starting at either 6:30 or 7pm with 20 minutes of worship music preceding.
The Pastor will need to introduce the Mission each night & welcome the people. In addition, he or a deacon will need to expose/repose the Blessed Sacrament.
Male & female volunteers will be needed to help us in Prayer Ministry on the 2nd night of the Mission. It will be necessary to work w/them 2 hrs. on Sunday.
The Parish Mission will require a Projector Screen that measures 12 feet by 14 feet and which sits 4 feet off the ground in the sanctuary near the altar. In addition, a sound system is needed in which to connect an acoustic guitar, two wireless microphones and a sound feed for the power-point presentation.
Equipment set up and sound check should happen Sunday after the last mass or first thing on Monday morning. This requires 2 hours of time. It’s best if the screen stays up for all three days. If necessary, it can be moved off to the side.
A free-will offering will be taken up each night for MNE. Ushers will be needed.
The hosting parish will need to reimburse Fr. Bramlage prior to the Parish Mission for his personal transportation expenses. When Father Bramlage is flying to the host parish, a designated person will be needed to transport Father to and from the airport. Reimbursements are made out to MNE only.
Each Parish Mission is a team event for MNE and requires the help of 3-4 assistants. The hosting parish will need to provide meals, guest housing & transport for MNE helpers during the Mission. MNE helpers pay their airfare.
A table will be needed in the entryway of church for MNE items.
The hosting parish will need to advertise their Mission in a timely manner using the materials provided by MNE. This includes advertising in neighboring parish bulletins, Diocesan Newspaper, local radio, businesses & events.
Cancelling the Mission after transportation costs have been incurred by MNE helpers will result in the Parish paying in full each member’s expenses.
